Something is down, IDK what it is yet, but something is experiencing an outage, Chess.com keeps repeating requests with no response :c

Honestly, Chess.com isn't the shining beacon of 99.9999 SLA - sometimes this just happens. Give it a break, take a drink, usually it's back up in couple minutes.

On a second read though - https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=46619539, it might be Verizon.
