Same ballpark build time and cost for a fire truck in Australia or New Zealand.
A bushfire tanker is a bit cheaper, an urban pumper costs a bit more. All based on off the shelf^ European or Japanese truck chassis.
The lead time from order to delivery is more like 18 months, but 6 weeks is pretty typical for the actual build time.
^ Not quite “off the shelf” in that commercial trucks tend to be built to order, crew cabs especially, but they’re not entirely bespoke beasts like North American appliances.
