Ask HN: Would you use an AI-driven stock analysis tool for Indian traders?

1•LabhTark•9mo ago
Hi HN,

I’m working on a project called LabhTark, a stock analysis platform built specifically for Indian retail traders. It aims to simplify both technical and fundamental analysis, and uses machine learning to forecast stock trends. My goal is to help people move away from gambling and toward data-driven investing—especially those new to the stock market who feel overwhelmed by tools like TradingView

My site is labhtark.com (not linked because of HN spam filter)

Some features I’ve built so far: * Auto-analysis of stocks with a recommendation score (Strong Buy to Strong Sell) * Easy-to-use stock screener like Finviz, focused on India * AI-based short-term prediction model (7–15 days forecast) * Beginner-friendly UI with explainers.

I’d love to hear your thoughts: * What’s missing or unclear? * Would this solve any pain points for you or people you know? * What kind of features or data would make you trust it more?

Thanks in advance!

I like the idea, but I'm skeptical about AI/ML predictions in stock markets, especially in volatile environments like India. Most platforms promise “forecasts” but rarely explain the logic behind them. How transparent are your models? Can users see why a stock is labeled “Buy” or “Sell”?

Thanks for sharing your feedback will work on this on our tool
yash_abhyankar•9mo ago
As a user, LabhTark offers a highly accessible and data-driven approach to stock analysis, particularly tailored for the Indian market. The platform effectively simplifies both technical and fundamental analysis, providing a clear recommendation score for each stock, ranging from Strong Buy to Strong Sell. The stock screener is straightforward, allowing for easy filtering of stocks based on various criteria. The AI-based short-term prediction model, offering forecasts for 7 to 15 days, adds a valuable layer of insight into potential market trends. The user interface is clean and beginner-friendly, with informative explainers that help demystify complex concepts. Overall, LabhTark is an excellent tool for those seeking a more analytical, data-backed approach to stock trading, without the overwhelming complexity of more advanced platforms.

Thank you so much for this thoughtful feedback! Our goal with LabhTark has always been to bridge the gap between complex analysis tools and everyday traders — especially in the Indian market, where most retail traders either rely on guesswork or get lost in jargon-heavy platforms.

We're glad you found the recommendation system and UI intuitive — we put a lot of effort into making insights both accurate and beginner-friendly. The 7–15 day forecast model is something we're constantly training and fine-tuning based on user feedback and market patterns, so it means a lot to know it's adding value.

If there's anything you'd love to see improved or added, we’re all ears — we're building LabhTark for users like you. Thanks again for your support!
