I work on a RAG at a large company. The problem of not having enough human user feedback to quickly validate my evals (cheaply) is obvious to me. Enterprise users are constantly asking my team what they can do to improve our RAG since their leadership mandates the use of AI, but I don't have time to interview them and my eng leadership hasn't invested in robust observability for this tool.
I've vibe coded a non-working prototype so far. I've been turned down by 4 technical founders. I got a $12K quote from a reputable dev shop for finishing it to a working version. It's been 2 months and I still have my day job.
Should I just commit to teaching myself nodejs?
