It seems as though a lot of voters don’t watch every candidate film anyway, so does the content of the film really matter?

My prediction made 4 months ago before this statement from the Academy [0] is slowly becoming truer day by day.

"The first entirely AI generated film (with Sora or other AI video tools) to win an Oscar will be less than 5 years away."

That's a bit of a shocker to be a new rule.
