Fraud existed before AI, yes, but AI is a severe force multiplier for a lot of negative things.

Not really. But old filters, like effort needed to target me, wont be enough.

My concern is when my voice will be used to beg my parents for money. I could preemptively try to fake scam them and claim I didn't do the call...

This could be combined with crypto. You could endlessly spin up entire shitcoin ecosystems that briefly exist to eke out a bit of money from marks then collapse and disappear like cherry blossoms in the spring. It doesn't matter if any of them have any longevity or reach as long as each one keeps grinding out a little money for you.
