It seems like a good idea. I think these are already banned in Canada and the EU for many of the same products sold across all these regions.

Might be a good thing for society, but it sets a bad precedent: what happens if someone with no real knowledge of nutrition science gets installed as FDA head, then arbitrarily bans something economically important, like gluten?
