Always online DRM has been the bane of law abiding citizens for a long while now, punishing those who pay for goods and services, limiting their options of when and how they can use the thing they just bought, all the while getting to see their pirate counterparts enjoy better performance and getting to keep it and do whatever they want with it.

It's really infuriating companies like these make it so hard to do the right thing.
