Iranians overthrew their government, but it was an act against their current government, not an act for a new government.

Actions need to be taken for something, not against something.

China is performing actions for their workers, while America is performing actions against China. We are not subsidizing trade shows or funding giant manufacturing projects, in fact we are killing our offices that generate new business across the executive.

China's adversity will make them stronger as they invest in their businesses and diversify their buyers. Our own adverity will make ourselves weaker as we continue to unnecessarily threaten and isolate ourselves from those we could seek help from or trade with. Right now China is a rational actor in ways we aren't. If you want predictability, that won't be found in America any time soon and for a business, that is extremely important.

Mao, who both Trump and Xi are modeling themselves after in different ways, was a person who didn't listen to experts and caused one of the greatest man made disasters that humanity has ever experienced because he thought he could solve problems without thinking about second order effects. It's extremely clear this administration is also not considering second order effects. Experts across the board are against this administration because every plan is so poorly thought out. We are headed for absolute disaster.
