Sorry, what do you mean by "waiting for funds?" As in, how do we do the conversion from fiat currency to crypto in the app?
AVAX has a great combination of qualities:
1) It's fairly decentralized with ~1,500 validators
2) The costs for transactions are incredibly inexpensive
3) It's EVM compatible
4) It has very fast finality, so you can save notes quickly
5) Has basically no down time or outages

We built our own lightweight browser based crypto wallet that we integrated into bitnote (you can check the code to see how we did it). For the fiat onramp, we used Unlimit.
