Ask HN: Why don't we have malware-detection software for the real world?

For example, your AR glasses could warn you about misleading ads or false medical claims the moment you see them in the real world.

Your AR glasses could warn you about false claims in people's statements, detect fraud quicker, scams, all of it.
But is has a huge downside: you lose the ability to do it yourself or will never learn it. Have your device broken, no internet connection, hacked and you don't notice it and follow it blindly etc..
THAT is a danger nobody is willing to look at.

We can't even tell which ads/info is misleading in the digital world (eg online reviews).
