I hope he is getting his affairs in order. Because, although I take no joy in saying this, the state is going to ship him out. Bail is just buying time to cash out bank accounts, wrap up relationships and give personal effects to someone willing to send them wherever he ends up.

Since when is the US govt legally able to make permanent residents "end up somewhere"?
He's a permanent US resident, if the state wants to do something, they gotta follow due procedure, charge him with something and actually win. People have both the freedom of speech and the right to organize, so if the state goes against that, it'd paint a clear picture what kind of state it is.
