Vibe Coding is hard to maintain

I enjoyed the article. I don't look forward to having to figure out other people's vibe coded projects in the future.

Code no one understands breaks just as often code written with human thought. Projects need changes that may not be possible to vibe into existence.

I think coding will evolve into a more modular approach. Rather than writing lines of code, we will be dealing with modules that the LLMs will modify. So, we'll be dealing with blocks of code, which will be easier to manage. I also wonder if providing programs will become the way to program. I've only heard about proving programs since it's not something that I encountered in school. From what I understand, it makes sure a piece of code functions as desired by using a formal proof. Code automation will help with that.

Bottom line, coding will have to evolve. There's no way future programers will be able to maintain LLM code if it continues to be managed line by line.

On my iPad it only worked in portrait mode. LLM didn't take into account screen orientation.
