Why not notepad (if you are Windows) - it restores unsaved text even after reboots.
Just wondering what problem you are solving that has already many existing solutions.

I use macOS, Windows, Android, and iOS and this solution is simple enough to work well across all of them. Sure, a regular notepad is fine, but in this case, I’ve intentionally "run away" from anything with buttons or that depends on a specific OS.

Ok. I understand. You probably don’t sync anything to any cloud. Do you ultimately want to use it across devices? That’s a whole can of worms, I suppose
