I've been working on this novel video player called VAMP for the last two years since I lost my job.
Steam reviewed VAMP for 18 days in radio silence, then finally decided it wasn't a good fit for Steam even though they knew of the app before as we've had correspondence.
It had 4000 wishlists, people checking on the page daily to see if it was out, still Steam decided to kill a record-setting(600 720p videos on 16 cores) novel well-built video player even though they allow video players and so much other slop.
I've poured my last two years into this and now I'm not even allowed to sell on the biggest marketplace where my audience is, what am I supposed to do?
