If Google were to sell something, would Android/Chromeos not be the move? So many independent companies derive from it and it's fair to say that it gives Google more of a monopoly advantage. In the United States, many schools are already Chromebook-only, and there's nothing more monopolistic than a device that is literally built to access the services of Alphabet (in drive/gsuite, chrome etc)

I find this argument compelling. As long as google is invested in promoting the internet, Chrome provides them with a powerful means of doing so.

I'd argue that Google's antitrust case is already outdated.
OpenAI's search capabilities as well as just normal LLMs are disrupting Google search.
