Maxed Out Mac Studio's Trade-In Value ≃ Basic MacBook Pro with M1 Pro

I bought a MacBook Pro with M1 chip (14", 1TB, 32GB) for $2850. That was 3 years ago.

Apple says its trade-in value is $1255.

I also bought a Mac Studio with M2 Ultra (maxed out storage, CPU/GPU cores) for $10,000. This I bought last year.

Apple says its trade-in value is $1395.
