The notion of cultural supremacy resonates with some in Silicon Valley, land of big and targeted data. The social media and crypto bro's have been running essentially unregulated for a long time and sided with Trump on his unconstitutionally extreme libertarianism, as in "I'll do whatever I like and take whatever I want". They definitely agree on that point, and they have not been stopped nor slowed down.

Trump I think is much less ideological. I think he sort of has this hard on for tarrifs he's always had from his time in business, but I don't know that Trump actually wants to "Make America Great Again". MAGA is just a way for Trump to get people to love him and stay in power.
