America is a lascivious mob of fickle apatites. Once cleverly cynic, you are now sarcastic and cruel. Wish fame or notoriety upon none you admire for they will be devoured from the inside and out, in the end despised for it.
You eat and shit your sweetest tastes and balk at the stench of a depleted world.

These sound like a joke: Truth, integrity, free will, human rights, and a righteous rule of law.
They seem the exhausted gimmick, the well worn prop. You might even think we “try”.
Your failures as human beings are just to start. We haven’t even gotten to the part about the evolution of Power, and the modern state of thought control hobbling you into submission.
Actually, I know what you are talking about, but this question is intentional just to be sure.
There is a mob culture of the thought controlled and there are the “game masters” who have been indoctrinated into an inner workings of a machinework which underlies and overrides all modernity.
Anything about the voices in our heads being actual disembodied others, who screw all and provoke mass delusion (with very real yet impossible to document consequences.)

All the elements are there - anti-intellectualism, destruction of bureaucracy, attack on state capacity, sidelining of state institutions, blatant illegality, cult of the leader.

Elections may continue, but the results may be prescribed. It doesn't has to be as cartoonish as in North Korea or China, where only one party is allowed. The Russian model is more likely - competing parties are allowed, but only if they are losing competing parties.
