What's next. Bring back incandescent lightbulbs? Is this supposed to help Big Oil/Gas/Coal? Makes no sense.

He already announced unblocking incandescent bulbs, but it is unlikely they will come back as any company veering into that space will be on shaky ground. I don't think Oil/Gas/Coal want any more wear and tear on the grid - they're overloaded with EVs right now.

There is ~2TW of renewables and batteries in US interconnect queues at the moment, and this admin has less than four years left. Like tariffs, it’s a pause, not a change in course.
