I just launched Mutatio.dev, a free platform that helps you test, mutate, and refine AI prompts using any model you configure. The idea is to make it easier to experiment with different prompt variations, track what works, and save the best ones for future use.
Why? I got tired of trying to keep track of which prompt variations actually worked well and wanted a structured way to test multiple versions systematically.
How it Works:
- Connect any AI model (your API keys stay in your browser)
- Create custom mutations to modify your base prompts
- Run experiments to test multiple variations
- Review validation metrics to see which ones perform best
- Save successful prompts to a personal library
Why Free? This is a solo project, and I want to get as much feedback as possible before deciding on the next steps. If it’s useful, great. If not, tell me why—it’ll only make it better.
