Who will be held accountable when this fails?

There is no "held accountable" in Washington, but there are many lists of convenient scapegoats.

I suspect it will be the taxpayer.

Accountable?

Build an AI to figure out what DOGE employees get sent to jail.

Alas, AI is a tool to make decisions without accountability. And rarely does the blowback make its way upwards.

This seems so flaggrantly stupidly awful & illegal. Innocent until proven guilty isn't going to go away, and the AI here is not capable of being a real arbiter, judge and jury. So painfully obviously. Seeing such a weird fucked up religion as AI spawn and take root, in such areas that have to be done right, is going to be the single worst thing for AI's chances, is going to malign any honest attempts at AI. Fuck these fucking fuckers.
