I certainly think of online harassment as a real problem, but almost always I see folks talk about it a lot without going into detail about how it manifests itself. It's a real problem, but also this opaque thing people cite as a reason to do something else.
I can't help but wonder sometimes if folks count ANY negative engagement online, on twitter, etc as harassment and I worry it has become a sort of de-facto claim to make whenever you do a thing.
