I went to an A's game on wednesday and it cost me $38 bucks in gas in my sister's hybrid camry to go up to sacramento and back from los gatos....3 of us went.

If we took the train, which would have been a lot more fun, it would have cost us $75 each round trip. Until they are competitive with driving nobody is going to take public transit.
