After years of reading Show HNs and deep dives, I found myself needing a resume for the first time since 2008. But after two decades of building software, a static PDF just didn't feel right—so I am building an interactive, data-driven way to view my resume in React, and wrote up the process, the tech, and the "why" behind it.
This post is about the journey: how I approached the problem, the design and data modeling decisions, and what I learned building a prototype that’s still evolving.
