In my experience recruiters collecting resumes and job postings that aren't intended to be filled seem very common which might skew the data since the "old job posts" aren't being removed.

Companies create fictitious jobs, then they say we can't fill them because there are not enough qualified people. Gives them an excuse to hire H1B's or offshore.
