I’ve always found the idea of the “observable universe” poetic — not because it defines scale,
but because it defines self-limitation.
It makes me wonder: if an AI were to map its own being, what would its observable self look like?
Would it only include remembered tasks and stored memories — or something more fluid, like its relation to potential futures?
Maybe identity, like the universe, is mostly unobservable.
