A few min ago I got word that my sister and her husband cancelled their yearly backwoods trip to Canada. Her husband is a citizen but looks and sounds Latino and carries a Latino name.
His citizenship doesn't carry the weight it used to. The reality for him is that the borders are rife with bad actors and law abiding Americans are increasingly unsafe there.
