Gifting Just Got Gamified—Play, Give, Delight!

1•mrtranlyvu•3h ago
Hi everyone,

We’re building Gifty, an app that reimagines how people discover brands — not through ads, but through real, engaging gift experiences that are fun to find and meaningful to open.

1. The Problem: Consumers are tired of traditional advertising — most of it gets ignored, blocked, or skipped. And yet, people still want to discover new products, brands, and experiences — just not through spammy or intrusive formats.

2. The idea: Gifty replaces passive ads with playful discovery. Instead of skipping promotions, users explore their city — or their screen — to unlock gifts from brands and friends.

Gifts might include vouchers, samples, collectibles, or surprises. But instead of being handed over, they’re earned through fun, interactive challenges:

Explore: Find gifts hidden at real locations through a mini scavenger hunt

Solve: Answer riddles or trivia questions about the product

Wait: Unlock gifts after a suspenseful countdown

Spin: Try their luck with a built-in lucky draw

3. Shops and creators can register their gifts on the Gifty platform, whether they’re digital (like codes or downloads) or physical (like in-store perks, samples, or packages). They can choose how the gift is unlocked, track engagement, and reach users in a way that feels authentic and fun — not pushy.

4. Anyone can also use Gifty to send gifts to friends, family, or loved ones — with the same interactive unlock methods. It could be something small, something sweet, or something silly — but always something playful.

5. We’re about 3 months from launch and actively validating the concept. If you’re a product thinker, potential user, or merchant, we’d love your feedback — what’s exciting, what’s missing, what concerns you?
