I don't dispute any of the numbers or facts in the article, but here's the thing. This is Gen-X we're talking about. Gen-X does not give a fuck. In fact, Gen-X says "you can go fuck yourself". We've been being shit on since we were kids, and from our perspective nothing has changed. We're the last "tough as nails" generation and we will survive and make our way... until we die. And then so be it.

Eg, don't waste one second on feeling pity for us. We don't want or need anyone's pity or sympathy. We'll rub some dirt on it, drink some hose water, and keep going.
