I recently launched a side project called AI Action Figure Maker TurnToy. It lets people upload a photo and generate their own custom action figure using generative AI.
The idea came from a conversation with a friend who collects designer toys. I wanted to see if I could create a mobile app that makes the process fun, fast, and accessible—even for people without design skills.
Some things I learned building this:
People love seeing themselves as superheroes or cartoon-style figures.
The biggest UX challenge was packaging customization.
Prompt engineering played a key role in style consistency on the chatgpt API.
I'm curious: what other use cases do you see for AI in toy/gaming creation?
Happy to answer questions and get feedback from the community.
