For starters, please first define what kind of "wealthy" we are speaking about here.
For me personally, being wealthy means having lots of free time at my disposal to invest into practical real world experiences and knowledge refinement.
The need to waste time with acquiring money is an absolute nuisance as it takes away from my pool of free time in unproportional, if not even unfair measure.
The dictatorial materialism of this world is the opposite of being "wealthy" according to my personal definition of the term.
