I feel fortunate to still value doing nothing. Though for me it's never nothing. It's more like quiet observation. Birds singing in the distance. Air movement. slight scents. the angle of light. It's similar to meditation, I think, I've never been good at orthodox by-the-book meditation. But I've been really good at sitting quietly and observing, from childhood.

Maybe it's because I first encountered screens as TV, then as arcade games at about the age of 12. I didn't have a smartphone until I was well into my 40s. All that brain development time with no easy dopamine generation might have something to do with it.
