Ask HN: Would you use a tool that builds AI agents from a prompt?

1•Bashkim•4h ago
I’m building a web app where you describe what you want in plain language e.g. “an agent that replies to customer emails using ChatGPT and Gmail” and it builds the automation for you.

No APIs, no code, no setup. Just describe the outcome, and it generates the agent + connections.

The idea is to help people (especially small teams and solo founders) offload repetitive tasks without technical overhead.

Would this be valuable to you? What would you want it to automate?

Sure. And I'am pretty much convinced that we'll have more and more tools to build things from plain language. These tools will have some extended questions to grasp what really are the user's intentions.

Yes, I would. But, depends on the cost. In general, I'm not poor, but I tend to flip the cent back and forth and if I can avoid spending, I won't spend it. So, I have to meter the benefits against doing it myself and learn something or just being lazy and let it be done for money or apples.

So, for now, I'm clueless about mcp and agents - so, I would rather start learning and looking at it. Afterwards, if it's difficult, I would use an tool like yours. If it's not to difficult then "learn to honey, save the money"

Do I want magic? I mean if you're offering it up and the price is right, sure...
