The SR-IOV part is the most exciting for me[0]. Often times SR-IOV comes up in the context of high-performance virtualization networking[1]. I'm keen to leverage it for hardware-video accelleration for multiple VMs. There's been a lot of speculation about it for newer Intel GPUs[2], partly fueled by the support Intel added for their iGPUs begining with Alder Lake[3].
I'm a little confused by how the article worded this. The paragraph ending with "and also will support SR-IOV" begins by discussing the Arc Pro B60, so I'm not sure if that feature is specific to the B60 or if it's the whole Arc Pro B-Series. I guess we'll find out in 2025Q4.
