I built an open source wakatime alternative with the main focus being that it is self-hostable, and therefore you control your data.

On top of that do I think that the UI/UX experience of wakatime is not the best that's why I focused on a minimal and clean design while at the same time taking a lot of inspiration and principals from plausible analytics because that is widely known it should be easier to get used to the UI of Ziit.

I recently release the first major version, v1.0.0 of Ziit and would love your feedback on features that are not yet implemented.

Although Ziit currently only supports VS Code, I’m actively working on extensions for JetBrains and Zed.
