What about all of the things made today? Some of them require web services or an ipad/android app. I have lovely automatic shades; the app is used to adjust open/close timing to track sunrise/sunset. Without app, we'd be stuck with last timing, perhaps closed too often in summer or open too much in winter. I'll be interested to see where it gets stuck, how the product becomes disabled. Or perhaps I have to keep an "ancient" iphone charged...
