yeah that was my takeaway. i'm like wait, you are surprised they are like this?? but i do appreciate the inside story about censorship and cancel culture in an organization that was conceived in the name of free speech. rich irony.

Seeing as one of the founding idea is that DEI is cancer, I don't think removing someone who wants to have a nuanced discussion about the pros and cons of DEI is betraying their stated position.

I like one of the comments that says "NO NEED FOR DEI, just do:" and then goes on to describe, most of the DEI policies that were discussed in most of the companies that I worked for.
