Casey Neistat has to get Beme 2 out

1•ugur2nd•8mo ago
Nine years ago, Casey Neistat released the Beme app. I think he should announce Beme 2 because it addresses a real need right now—reality!

Casey Neistat is a world-famous YouTuber. He launched a social media app 9 years ago, complaining that everything was artificial. But it didn’t go as planned. But I think he should release version 2.

There is a straightforward answer. It’s because of artificial intelligence. Right now, in the age of artificial intelligence, the only truth is that everything is very synthetic. It has exactly the kind of environment he wants.

If you edit these, the app can be as high as BeReal:

1. Excellent UX! The old one was not easy to understand. It is very nice to use, but there are problems with daily use.

2. Excellent onboarding! Everyone comes with excitement, but loses that excitement because they can’t learn. Explain it to them as a flat cartoon/illustration in GIF form.

3. A rationale to increase loyalty! Instead of doing it with notifications, do it with culture. Create a solid slogan. This slogan should even include the name of the app. It could even be a phrase that is remembered when interacting with it every day. Such as if “It’s going to rain rocks on our heads!” is the tagline, “Rain Rocks” should be the name of the app. It could be something to say when you are very familiar with artificial intelligence. It’s something to think about.

These 3 things can make the product very usable.

Can you watch this again with today’s eyes? Do you see how relevant it is for the world right now?

https://youtu.be/mixsze6uJPg

There is so much potential here. Moving away from artificiality! BeReal is an example of that! Beme has a different usage dynamic. It’s a Gen Z product.

There’s just a problem with the name because someone else is using the name and domain right now.

Hey Caisey, I’d like you to give the product a second chance. And thank you to the team because we’ve never seen a use like this.
