Something fun to think about is, in many cases in Europe, solar panels are at cost parity or cheaper than traditional fencing material.

I saw this comparison recently! Solar was cheaper than prefabricated fence panels

If the electrical connections could be made super-simple and beneficial with any number of panels they really could just start being put on everything.
