Show HN: A book of field notes for early life (free this weekend)

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F9HPYSD5
2•kolyder•8mo ago
Earlier this year, I shared some personal notes on HN. Two drove some good discussion here:

- Write to Escape Your Default Setting [1][2] - Stamina Is a Quiet Advantage [3][4]

The response was warm, both here and from people reaching out directly. That encouraged me to keep working on turning those notes into what is now a book: Working Wisdom: Field Notes for Early Life [5].

As a thank you, the eBook is free through the weekend. If you come across this message too late and want the book but can't afford it, message me (contact in bio) and I'll send it.

My goal was to boil decades of notes and highlights down to their essence, at least in a way that would've resonated with me. It's the book I wish I had earlier in life. I hope it can help other people who are walking the path of personal development. Especially those who, because of their upbringing, started at zero.

If you read any of it, I'd love to hear what you think.

I don't do other social media. I'm amazed at the trickle of traffic my blog still gets from the HN posts and subsequent sharing.

So thank you, HN, for the push to pursue this!
