Been experiencing this more and more in the 2.4 GHz band. My hearing aids use a digital streaming protocol at 2.4 GHz. Late at night, I can leave my phone on my desk and walk around the entire apartment without problems. In the early evening when everyone is at home streaming TV wirelessly (I assume) they cut out randomly even with the phone is in my breast pocket a few inches away from the receiver. Can't use them at the train station or the gym or basically anywhere with a lot of people around. Drowned out in radio noise. They were designed for a much quieter kind of world.
