Many people have bad experience with tradespeople marketplaces -- and prefer local recommendations from neighbours, usually asked in Facebook or WhatsApp.

But this results in lots of copy and pasting, an address book full of "Max plumber" and "Jane actually good plumber", which struggle to find when you need them.

TradesPurple makes it easy to save your trusted tradespeople in one place, contact them easily and share your whole list with neighbours in need.

The core functionality is intended to be free, and if people like it, we would build useful and valuable features like automation and managing jobs, or agents AI, or WhatsApp integration as an upgrade.

Agreed that marketplaces are painful, but so are local recommendations. The tradespeople who are good are busy enough to not need to be marketing on Facebook. I find that the problem you are fighting is the standard "pick two" problem, in this case: Good, affordable, available: Pick two.

Another marketplace doesn't change that math.

Thanks for your comment on this -- important to state this isn't a marketplace.

The idea is more of a utility to quickly save the tradespeople you have used, know where they are saved, contact many at once, and share/ save list between neighbours.
