Show HN: PostLayer – Social media scheduling for startups (postlayer.co)

https://www.postlayer.co
1•vikramsuthar121•1d ago
Hi HN, I'm launching PostLayer, a social media scheduling tool built specifically for startups and solopreneurs. After struggling with overly complex and expensive tools like Hootsuite and Buffer, I decided to build something simpler.

What it does:

Schedule posts across Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook Built-in viral content templates (think "Sunday motivation" posts, founder journey updates, etc.) Simple analytics focused on what actually matters for small businesses Pricing that makes sense for bootstrapped startups ($9/month vs $99+ for enterprise tools)

Why I built it: Every existing tool assumes you're managing 50+ clients or have a dedicated social media team. As a solo founder, I just needed something that works without the bloat. I spent more time learning Buffer's interface than actually posting content. Technical details:

Currently in beta. The viral content feature is new – it analyzes high-performing posts in your niche and suggests similar templates. Ask HN: What's been your biggest pain point with social media tools? Always looking for feedback from fellow builders. Try it free: https://postlayer.co Happy to answer any questions!

Does it create posts or remix content for other platforms?

How does it compare to Blaze.ai?

We are an agency so can we group different accounts? Ie run multiple clients on it?
