Ask HN: Since getting an Agent, what's changed in your life?

1•yeeyang•1d ago
Every day, X is flooded with new agents. From generalists like ManusAI and Genspark, to niche pros like Lovart and PineAI,or super-specific AI tools built on top of big platforms.

With all these agents popping up... Which ones have actually changed your life? Helped you save time or got the real results?

I want to learn from your best practice , thanks!

For creating mobile apps it has been mobilx.ai, so far is the best compared to the other ones...
yeeyang•1d ago
Is it better than cursor?
scarqin•1d ago
Not yet. I haven't paid attention to whether I use an agent or not, but they all seem to be pretty smart.
yeeyang•1d ago
Perhaps it is because they can use more tools. After all, this is the biggest difference between humans and apes.

Just relax, take it easy. Stay calm and watch it.

Wise one!

Skywork.ai is also a good thing. I use it to create 2 suites of slides, one of them is used to give a presentation to my cooperation partners. It only took me 30 minutes to finish the slides, 20 minutes for Skywork generation and 10 minutes for manual revision.

Any SaaS could be rebuilt with an agent. Once users experience that simplicity, no one wants to click through bloated GUIs again. Learning curves exist because of overcomplicated UI. If there’s a smarter, lazier way — people will take it. Was thinking about building a n8n like workflow UI for my new video tool. Now I'm thinking agentic
yeeyang•16h ago
yes,n8n make it easier to build !

Not exactly an "agent" per se, but the underlying APIs behind these agents have definitely changed my workflow - especially the new image generation APIs.

I've been using filtrix.ai and it's actually helped me land several e-commerce clients who need product showcase images and model photos generated for their listings.

It's interesting how sometimes it's not the flashy agent interfaces that make the difference, but finding the right API/tool for a specific use case that can actually drive real business results.
