Ask HN: People using AI daily to write – what's the biggest gap you feel?

1•Danao•8mo ago
I’m looking for hands-on stories from people who write a lot (docs, specs, marketing copy, essays, anything) and already use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, whatevr) or AI features built into editors like Notion.

Where does it break your flow? What keeps you from leaning on it harder? If you could torch your current tool-chain and build an “AI-first” editor from scratch, what has to be in there?

I want edge-cases, pain points, hacks you’ve built, and the one feature you wish existed

I believe most products are AI-enabled rather than AI-first. A lot of tools does not fit real context and constraints, we’re in a smoke-and-mirrors phase of AI. I’m trying to map the gaps so builders (myself included) can aim at the right problems rather than hyped stuff.
