I’ve been building Mijick Pockets, a lightweight macOS app that helps reduce context switching and mental clutter by letting you group your files, links, notes, and tools into always-on-top visual containers—right on your desktop.
Why I built it: Like many, I often found myself digging through folders, tabs, and notes just to gather everything I needed for a task. I wanted a way to visually collect everything in one place—without breaking focus or switching between apps.
What it does: You can create floating “Pockets” on your desktop and drag in files, folders, links, notes, screenshots, and even apps. Everything you need for a task stays visible and easily accessible. It helps you stay in flow and switch context quickly.
It’s currently in open beta. I’d love your feedback: • Is the concept clear? • Does it feel intuitive? • Could it fit into your workflow?
