Show HN: WanderEye, an AI travel app that identifies and explains landmarks

https://www.wandereye.app/
3•carlosbalaguer5•1d ago
I built WanderEye after getting frustrated while travelling and not knowing anything about what I was looking at. With WanderEye you can point your camera at any monument/landmark and get instant historical context.

Technical details: - React Native for cross-platform development - AI algorithm for landmark recognition - Capability to create personalized travel plans

Started with zero mobile dev experience 4 months ago. The biggest challenge was developing an algorithm that works globally while maintaining high accuracy.

Currently live on iOS, working on Android version.

Would love feedback on the technical approach and UX decisions.
