I'm curious about the technical implementation behind Nextdoor's address verification process.
"To verify your account, your phone plan’s billing address must match the address you used to join Nextdoor."
Does anyone know how they actually accomplish this?

I wonder if they don't, and just accept that having a phone number is Good Enough to let someone onto their site - helps cut down on bot registrations, I'm sure.

Vendors exist to get enriched data from phone numbers via API call. “Phone|mobile number intelligence” is the search query to use.
