Show HN: BackendIM – AI Powered Platform to Generate, Deploy and Test Backend

https://backend.im
1•mayowaibitola•6mo ago
We built BackendIM because we were tired of how painful it is to go from a backend idea to something that actually runs.

We’re both devops/backend engineers who’ve spent years writing infrastructure and dev tools. But even for us, spinning up APIs, setting up deployments, and managing environments still took too much time — especially when you just want to test something fast.

BackendIM is a developer platform that turns a single prompt into a working backend. You describe what you want, and we: • generate real FastAPI code (models, routes, logic), • deploy it instantly, • let you test it in-app, and • manage environment variables, and more.

You can export the code, test endpoints, and iterate without needing to manage infra.

We’re launching our MVP and are looking for feedback. You can try it at https://backend.im

Would love to hear what you’d want to build with it or what’s still confusing.
